The need for custom sounds & themes
There are many, many different ways of customizing your desktop with WB skins, WMP, Wallpapers, Docks, Clocks Calendars, complete themes any many, many other tools to help you build a desk top & give it it’s own unique personality.
One thing comes to mind, All of the tools that are available on WC are visual & from my point of view one crucial element has been missed & forgotten about……… ‘SOUND’.
Sound also plays a big part of a custom desktop with sound effects in WB skins, WMP, Objects, button clicks & so on. Let’s not also forget things like email alerts, Boot up & shut down sounds.
There are many sound effects available on the net but it can take a lot of time to find quality sounds that suit your needs & even longer to put together a complete set that fits in with your visual theme.
What if WC were to offer a custom sound or sound theme gallery to their downloads or do you already know of site’s that are offering this service, (without charging you for a handful of disappointing, bad quality garbage)?
